Berggruen

Turkey's vast Mediterranean and Aegean coasts offer everything from warm beaches, excellent sailing and the best in Mediterranean cuisine. Beggruen offers its users insight in the lifestyles that we feel are important in our values and real estate projects.
Turkey
Due to its attractive climate, diversified coastline, rich historical past and local culture, Turkey is one of the leading holiday destinations in the world. Visitors interested in extending their stay and making a profitable investment are increasingly choosing Turkey for their holiday homes. In today's market, acquiring and maintaining a holiday home in Turkey is considerably more affordable compared to other leading European destinations. Turkey's legal framework regarding international ownership of property is established and straightforward. With all of its contemporary and traditional features, its ideal geographical location providing easy access, and with the prospects of joining the EU, holiday homes in Turkey have recently become an attractive investment opportunity.
Bodrum
The Bodrum Peninsula on Turkey's Aegean coast is an easily accessible holiday destination offering attractive beaches, trendy nightlife and a variety of cultural activities.
Bodrum (also known as the historic town of 'Halicarnassus' the birthplace of Greek philosopher Herodotus) is one of the most attractive and established vacation spots in Turkey. Located on the Aegean coast, Bodrum's primary natural attractions include a superb dry climate and an attractive sea coast. As Bodrum has been the leading holiday destination since the 60's for more affluent Turks and foreign visitors, the overall quality of entertainment and related recreational facilities such as hotels, beach clubs, restaurants and marinas is unmatched in Turkey. Primary overseas access to Bodrum is through Milas/Bodrum International Airport, which is served daily from a variety of European destinations and İstanbul during peak seasons. Other international airports serving Bodrum are located in Dalaman and Izmir.
Gümüşlük
Once the ancient Carian city of Myndos, the village of Gümüşlük is located on the western tip of the Bodrum Peninsula. Gümüşlük has a tranquil atmosphere with natural beauty, architectural ruins dating back to ancient Greece, and excellent regional cooking.
The majority of Gümüşlük village is an official archaeological site. It is one of the best preserved areas in Bodrum, with a strong local character due to strict development guidelines established by the local Municipality. Gümüşlük Beach with charming, family run establishments, and authentic atmosphere is entirely open to the public, and is known for its spectacular sunsets.
Other activities in Gümüşlük include snorkeling within the ancient remains of Myndos and discovering by foot the striking Rabbit Island located directly across the beach of Gümüşlük.
