Sailing around Bodrum and nearby locations on the Agean Sea, including the Greek Islands, is a well established and popular activity.

There are currently 3 international marinas located in Bodrum Peninsula (in Turgutreis, Yalıkavak and Bodrum). There are also a variety of local and international companies chartering sailboats as well as 'gulet's for more comfortable 'blue voyage' trips around the Agean Coast. Gulet is a Turkish built boat which can accomodate up to 12 people in great comfort during blue voyage trips.

• Situated approximately 30 minutes from the Bodrum Milas International Airport, Bodrum Marina can accomodate up to 450 boats and offers a full range of services. It is located in the old town of Bodrum, and is a very popular destination year around for shopping and entertainment.
